How COUG Are You?

The Senior Scholarship Fund

Created in 1999, the Senior Scholarship Fund is an endowed fund comprised of senior class gifts to provide scholarships for deserving undergraduate students, including incoming freshmen, at Washington State University.

How it Works

Funds raised through the 2008 Senior Scholarship Gift drive are combined with those raised through class gifts from each graduating class since 1999. Pooling these class gifts into a single endowed fund enables WSU to award more scholarships to more deserving undergraduates each year. Because the scholarship fund is endowed, contributions are invested and scholarships are awarded from the gains of that investment. Since 1999, more than $68,000 has been raised by WSU seniors in support of the Senior Scholarship Fund.
